Dr. Padmanabhan Palpu

Dr.Padmanabhan Palpu (1836-1950) was a much-revered doctor and social reformer from Kerala. He stood alongside social reformer Sree Narayana Guru and the great poet Kumaran Asan as pioneers of the battle against the pernicious caste system in Travancore. He dedicated himself to serve the sick, uplifting his community and challenging the caste system. SNMS proudly dedicates this educational institution to Dr. Padmanabhan Palpu for his selfless and benevolent service towards the cause of downtrodden and oppressed.
